The Creative Works of The Great Late Artist,Keith Haring, Forever Lives On

When you look at the electrifying paintings of Keith Haring, there is a sense of passion within his art. His public art spoke and engage in coversation with his viewers, specifically in New York City. Several of his masterpieces gave The Big Apple some life. Keith Haring was born in Reading, Pennsylvania and raised in the nearby town of Kutztown (what a name for a city…lol). In his adult years, he moved to n New York and enrolled in the School of Visual Arts where he experimented with performance, video, installation and collage. This allowed him to implement these elements into his drawings to capture the public eyes. He began drawing his creations in white chalk on the unused advertising boards covered in matte black paper with in the NYC Subway and caught the attention the commuters. His art made its way to underground nightclubs such as the notable Paradise Garage to murals in international cities in Amsterdam, Paris, Phoenix and in Berlin on the Berlin Wall at Brandenburg Gate. Furthermore, he was instrumental in helping Madonna’s music career take off.  Keith Haring departed this earth on February 16, 1990 but his legacy and spirit lives on forever.
